INVITES & TABLESCAPES

  1. Abigail’s Visit
  2. Golden Birthday
  3. Christine’s Birthday
  4. Abigail’s Bachelorette

For me, every celebration is an opportunity to create something beautiful. Whether it’s a friend visiting, a birthday (mine or yours), or a big life moment like a bachelorette, I love setting the tone with curated invites and artistic tablescapes. It’s part design, part storytelling—where color palettes, textures, and tiny details come together to make the moment feel just right. Because a great party isn’t just about the people (though they’re the best part)—it’s about the experience, and I love making that experience unforgettable.

When my friend Abigail came to visit, I knew we had to make it count. With so much to do in Orange County and LA, my roommate and I put together a curated menu of options—because let’s be real, decision fatigue is real, especially in a place with endless possibilities. To set the tone, we themed the menus “Pacific Riviera Retreat,” creating an atmosphere of relaxation and hospitality from the start. But this wasn’t just any weekend; it was the first evening the three of us had spent together in six years, so every detail had to be just right. Thoughtfully planned but never overproduced, the night became a perfect balance of nostalgia and new memories—proof that a little intentionality can turn any gathering into something unforgettable.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of your golden birthday—the one where the day of the year matches your age. Mine is the 28th, and at around 5 years old, it felt like the pinnacle of adulthood. Fast forward to today, and I still think it’s pretty special. My roommate and I have our birthdays just five days apart, so we use that as an excuse to throw a big celebration. We decided to drag our friends out to the desert for a laid-back getaway—filled with delicious food, fun games, and plenty of laughs. Because why not celebrate the things that make life shine a little brighter?

When my sister came into town for her birthday, I knew I had to make it extra special. I wanted to throw her a small, intimate celebration at home—one filled with love, thoughtful details, and the kind of curation that makes a moment feel just right. From the atmosphere to the little touches, every element was designed to show her how much she means to me. Because birthdays are about more than just cake—they’re about creating a memory that feels as good as it looks.

When my graphic designer friend decided to get married, she chose me to be one of her bridesmaids—and naturally, I was all in for curating the bachelorette of her dreams. We headed to Palm Springs, where she envisioned a retro, Stepford Wives-inspired getaway, complete with vintage vibes and timeless fun. We even slipped away to the desert for a magical day under the stars, embracing the serenity of nature while celebrating the future she was about to step into. Because when it’s a designer-to-designer collaboration, you know it’s going to be unforgettable.
